About The Gallery

Established in 1998 by four long time Yellowknifers, Gallery of the Midnight Sun is the NWT’s largest gallery and giftshop offering fine arts and crafts from across the north.  We are located in Yellowknife’s historic Old Town in the former Northwest Company Trading Post, next to Ragged Ass Road on the shores of Great Slave Lake. We carry a wide selection of Inuit sculpture, Dene arts and crafts, northern apparel, T shirts, jewellery (including genuine NWT Diamonds), furs, books and souvenirs.  More than just a place to shop, Gallery of the Midnight Sun is an authentic northern experience.
